3-1/2" deep, 4" square junction boxes with flat vertical brackets and (5) 1/2" & (5) 1/2"-3/4" side knockouts and (2) 1/2" & (2) 3/4" bottom knockouts are installed in ceilings and walls where extra depth is needed for dimmers, cameras, speakers, strobes, signals and other electrical and electronic devices. Their vertical brackets are set back for 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4” or 1” drywall.
