2-1/8" deep, 4" square boxes with flat vertical brackets and (4) 1/2” & (5) 1/2”-3/4” side knockouts and (3) 1/2”& (2) 3/4” bottom knockouts and pre-installed quick mount screws are used when 4” square boxes must be mounted directly to wood or metal studs.
