2-1/8" deep, 4" square boxes with vertical right angle brackets and (4) 1/2” & (5) 1/2”-3/4” side knockouts and (3) 1/2”& (2) 1/2”-3/4” bottom knockouts provide extra rigid support when attached to wood or metal studs. They are used when 4” square boxes must be mounted directly to wood or metal studs.
