1-1/2" deep, 4" square drawn junction boxes with dual "back door" access flat vertical brackets and (4) 1/2" & (5) 1/2"-3/4" side knockouts and open back with mounting tabs and 8-32 screws are used when 4” square boxes must be mounted directly to wood or metal studs. Dual access allows for access to devices, wires and wire nuts after they have been installed on plaster ring. Blank covers enclose wires in rings and attaches to bottom tapped 8-32 ears. Square boxes are used to bring power to a number of electrical devices where multiple conductor runs are split in two or more directions. Garvin Industries’ 4” square boxes with attached brackets allow a quick easy installation on structural members and keep the boxes upright for an easy and solid conduit connection.
